Glad Tidings of Paradise
Hazrat Makhdoom-ul-Alam stated in his discourse that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: “Whoever sights the moon of Rabi-ul-Awwal and gives me the good news of it, I shall give him the glad tidings of Paradise.” This means whenever you sight the moon of Rabi-ul-Awwal, immediately recite Darood Shareef and visualize in your heart that you are presenting the glad tidings of the Rabi-ul-Awwal moon to the Holy Prophet (pbuh). After sighting this moon, offer two rak’ahs of Nafl prayer after the Maghrib prayer. Recite Surah Al-Kafirun in the first rak’ah and Surah Al-Ikhlas in the second rak’ah, presenting the reward as an offering to the Holy Prophet (pbuh). When you convey the good news of this moon to the Holy Prophet (pbuh) in this manner, he (pbuh) will grant you the glad tidings of Paradise. There is no discrimination in the teachings of Hazrat Makhdoom-ul-Alam. Everyone can benefit from the teachings of Hazrat Makhdoom-ul-Alam.
